CLIMATE POSITIVE AND BEYOND
Some companies talk of being climate neutral, but we didn’t stop there. Instead, we’ve worked hard at becoming the world’s first certified climate positive tea company – performing all our sustainability work in our own tea gardens. That’s right, we’ve got our sustainability work down to a tee.
Or tea, if you prefer.

Social CSR
FN GOALS
– bilder?
We are proud to be pioneers within sustainability. From speaking at UN meetings about our climate efforts to discussing the importance of social efforts with our customers, we know sharing knowledge is a necessity for true sustainability. Our efforts touch on all 17 UN Sustainable Development Goals and what’s more, we have been recognized as one of the first five companies in the world to be certified by Climate Neutral Group, even though we are now already climate positive! (för långt?)
Getting down to business is essential when it comes to addressing climate change. With thousands of baby steps, we’ve made significant progress in becoming climate positive.
Some of these include, but are not limited to: (ICON pack)
1. RAINFOREST & WATER CONSERVATION
We actively work to enhance biodiversity and fight climate change by improving the resilience of our rainforest and water resources, through rain harvesting and planting rainforest species.
2. Renewable Energy
Our tea is produced using 100% renewable energy, powered solely by solar & hydro power. Certified “Net Zero Energy” by SLCF.
3. Climate Smart Agricultural Center
To make sure we have control over our impact, we have introduced a centre where we measure, predict and create short, medium and long term goals.
4. Precision Agriculture
Fertilizer is a big negative contributor to carbon footprint, that’s why we are always working on minimizing the use of our organic fertilizer, using precision measurements. By creating our own fertilizer and adding our home-developed microorganisms we can boost the effect and increase biodiversity.
5. Regenerative Agriculture & Tea
Many companies strive towards regenerative agriculture, and it has become a buzzword in the industry without much meaning. We are already there. That means that we improve soil health to fight climate change and restore biodiversity. Regenerative means to protect the relationship within land, water, wildlife, microbial life and people.
